How to get there?
SHUTTLE WILL BE ORGANIZED BETWEEN THE AIRPORT AND THE HOTEL!
The shuttles will not depart from the airport at fixed time points, but the driver will send a text message to your phone before you arrive, and he will collect you at the arrival exit door. Please don't forget to turn on your phone (and check your messages) after landing. The driver won't leave the airport without you, but in case if you get lost, you can contact the driver by calling or messaging him/her. In case if you are not taking the shuttle:
1. If you travel by plane to Hungary,
you land at Liszt Ferenc International Airport in Budapest. The Airport is located within the boundary of Budapest, 16 km Eastward from the city, alongside Main Road 4. There are several ways to get directly to Szeged from Liszt Ferenc Airport.

1/a By train from Budapest or Budapest Airport to Szeged:
The train from Budapest to Szeged also stops at Budapest's Ferihegy International Airport. The Airport station is located near Terminal 1, which is a ten minute bus ride from Terminal 2. If you land at Terminal 2, you will need to take Airport Bus No. 200 or 200E from Terminal 2 to the station stop, which is called Ferihegyi vasútállomás, Hungarian for "Ferhegyi railway station".
You can buy a ticket on the bus from the driver for 450 HF (= about 1.50 EUR). You do not need to have exact change. You can also buy a ticket in advance for 350 HUF at the post office, the newsstand called "Relay", or BKK Client Point. There is also a ticket vending machine at the bus stop itself. The journey to the stop for the train station takes about 10 minutes. Please note the bus stops for yourself because all signs are given in Hungarian, not in English.
Bus stops are the following:

2. Repülőtér, P+R
3. Vecsés-nyugat
4. Repülőtéri Rendőr Igazgatóság
5. Ferihegyi vasútállomás (the railway station, near Terminal 1, this is
where you should get off the bus)
To get to the platform to Szeged you need to leave the bus stop and cross the tracks by means of a footbridge. Once on the footbridge, as you approach the other side, you will see a sign for the trains to Szeged.
Hungarian state railway company MÁV operates a domestic ticket office at the Ferihegy train station every day from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. In addition, train tickets can also be purchased from the ticket machines located on the platforms. You can use credit or debit cards. Please note, however, that ticket machines only communicate in Hungarian. If you are unable to buy a ticket at the station, you can always purchase one from the conductor for a small surcharge. Tickets for destinations not shown on the ticket machines and supplementary tickets for premium category trains are available from the conductor on board the trains, without a surcharge.
Trains run hourly from 6:13 am till 8:13 pm.
Intercity ticket price with a reserved seat: 4210 HUF for a single, one way ticket (about 17 EUR). You will receive two look-alike tickets, one for your train fare and another for your reserved seat. Once on the train you can sit in your reserved seat or in any free seat.

Offer for departing passengers: As a result of cooperation between MÁV and the Budapest Transport Center, passengers taking the train to the Ferihegy train station can purchase a discount bus ticket for their journey to Terminal 2. Discount bus tickets cost 300 HUF, and are only available together with the train ticket, from ticket offices at railway stations. Discount tickets are only valid between the bus stop next to the Ferihegy train station and Budapest Airport Terminal 2, on bus number 200E (during the daytime) or night bus number 900 (at nighttime).
Again, you need to take 200 or 200E bus from Ferihegyi vasútállomás to Liszt Ferenc Airport Terminal 2 on your return journey .
1/b By car from Budapest to Szeged:
All motorways in Hungary are toll roads. To legally use Hungarian toll roads, you have to pay a fee in the form of vignette. Hungary has adopted an electronic vignette system (e-matrica) therefore, there is no sticker to stick on the windshield, the vignette is virtual. Gateways scan the license plates at the entrances of the motorways and check whether the fee has been paid. The shortest vignette is valid for 10 days, and the D1 category is for motorcycles and automobiles with maximum authorized mass of 3,5 tons (tow included), that are suitable for the transportation of 7 people (driver included). A 10-day D1 vignette costs HUF 3,500 and allows you to use all the motorways of the country as many times as you like.

Free parking is available at the venue, in the gated parking lot of the BRC (Temesvári krt. 62, Szeged).

1/c Public transportation in Szeged:
You can use the following modes of transportation in Szeged: bus, trolley, tram, taxi. If you take a train to Szeged, you can take the tram that stops in front of the station into the city centre. Tickets may be purchased at the kiosk at the exit (about 1 EUR). You can also walk to downtown (about 20 minutes).
PLEASE NOTE: You can purchase a ticket for public transportation prior to boarding at post offices and kiosks, or you can buy it on board for an extra price. One ride is approximately 1.4 EUR per person on board.
2. If you travel by train or by bus to Hungary,
you arrive
either at Budapest, Keleti Railway Station (in case of trains) or at "Népliget"
International Bus Station. If you want to continue your travel to Szeged by
train, you have to go to "Nyugati" Railway Station ("Nyugati

Buses to Szeged start from "Népliget" International Bus Station. Single ticket
costs 3.395 HUF and can be purchased at the bus-driver. See: https://www.volan.eu/ for the timetable.
HOW TO GET TO THE BRC AFTER ARRIVING AT SZEGED?
Tram (from
Railway station to BRC):
A tram (number 1, 2) stops right in front of the Railway Station in Szeged and
takes you to Széchenyi Square ("Széchenyi tér" in Hungarian), the town center
(5 stops). Here you can change to buses (60, 60Y, 72) driving to the direction
"Újszeged". You have to get off at Stadion ("Sportcsarnok" in Hungarian), which
is very close to BRC. You can chose trolley buses (5,7) as well at Széchenyi
Square to reach BRC at "Újszeged". In that case you have to get off at the
final stop ("Gyermekkórház" in Hungarian). Ticket costs 400 HUF and can be

Bus (from
Coach-terminal to BRC):
The coach-terminal as well as the bus-stop for local buses are located in Mars
Square ("Mars tér" in Hungarian). You can get on buses (60, 60Y) or trolley bus

("Sportcsarnok" in Hungarian), which is very close to BRC. Ticket costs 400 HUF
and can be purchased at the driver.
